Umbrellas, Belts, And Spelling

Oh man. I've been bad about blogging lately. I'll be better. I promise. I actually have several posts swimming in my head at this very moment. But for now, here are a couple things from Christmas.

This is my favorite picture from Christmas morning. Harper got lots of cool things, but she liked her umbrella and belt the best. Who knew?

I gave myself a little project over the Christmas holiday. I wanted to teach Harper how to spell her name. Turns out, it only took the length of one bath for her to get it. Here are the results:

Name Game

It occurred to me last night that Harper doesn't know what my name is. I asked her "Where's Elaine? Where's Elaine?". She just looked around the room. Then I asked her "Where's Momma?" and she pointed right to me. For some reason, I think that's funny.

Science Friday - Naming Contest Edition

It's contest time again! Science Friday needs a new name. I don't want to keep ripping off the real Science Friday, and frankly, we can come up with a better name anyways.
