Cells

I took this picture at work yesterday. The red cells are muscle cells and the green one is a nerve cell. The nuclei are in blue. I like my job.

Never A Dull Moment

"Harper sleep walked during naptime today. She stood straight up, yelled "WHY!" and threw her blanket in the trash can. Does she do this @ home?"

Future Ophthalmologist?

Harper keeps asking for band-aids for her baby dolls. She says they have boo boos on their eyeballs. Is this normal?

Getting Better Every Day

Harper completely surprised me this morning. While eating breakfast, she busted out the ABCs. All of them. We've been working on them a little, but until this morning, she still had some gaps. Now, I realize that they're not perfect, but this was a big step. I'm proud of her.

Picking a Fight

I stole this idea from one of my favorite websites, SoulPancake. A recent post asked readers to list 5 things worth fighting for and 5 things not worth fighting for. Here's my list.

Worth Fighting For:
1. my kid's heart
2. my marriage
3. the truth
4. healthy self esteem
5. basic human rights for everyone

Not Worth Fighting For:
1. driving habbits
2. sports teams (ie. my team is far superior to your team)
3. oil
4. religion (ie. who's right and who's wrong)
5. politics

What about you? What's worth fighting for and what's not?

These Are The Days Of The Week

Harper learned this song at school a couple weeks ago and has been singing it non-stop ever since. Rob and I even find ourselves singing it. I think it may be rotting our brains. Being a parent is difficult sometimes.
