There was a new addition to Harper's baby school class this morning...a mini hamster! I had never heard of a mini hamster, but apparently, they exist. I can't say that it's any smaller than a regular hamster, but it is definitely fuzzier. The kids were totally mesmerized by Despereaux (that's his name - the teacher's daughter named him). Harper already loves baby school. But now, I'm afraid she'll never want to leave...

I seriously though that was a stuffed animal. I hope it lasts longer than our hamsters did :(
I hope it lasts too. Otherwise, there are going to be some seriously traumatized kids...
