These things shouldn't surprise me. I'm a developmental biologist. I study the molecular mechanisms of how things grow and change.
But...it's a little more difficult to comprehend when it hits this close to home.

Oh my goodness, I know what you mean.
It's such a cliche, but they do grow up so quickly. Sometimes it seems like forever while you are going through it, but then poof, they are grown and gone.
All I can say is,"I know, right?!" Number three is sooo much faster. It's weird.
