Apparently, it's fun to say this word over and over and make up little songs about it.
Having a girl, I thought we would escape this wonderful phase of life.
But no. Poop is funny to little girls too. Who knew?
My strategy thus far has been to inform her that we only say that word when talking about going to the potty. In hind sight, this was not the best strategy.
Now, when she is singing/yelling the P Word at the top of her lungs and I tell her to knock it off, she informs me that she is singing a song about going to the potty. Touche.
This too shall pass.

She is so stinking cute! And "booty" was the word of choice at our house. Robert bought your approach and now says, "We don't call people booty, we just talk about our booty." Clearly, girls are smarter than boys! ;-)
I insisted that we use the proper words for body parts with my kids when they were little. It seemed like a good idea to me at the time until my three-year-old began talking about her vagina very loudly in a crowded BMV.
Fran - Nice.
