Family Dynamics

Conversation I had while tucking Harper into bed last night:

H: Mom, I love you.
Me: I love you too.
H: I love you more.
Me: Probably not. I love you more than anything in the whole wide world.

She smiles and snuggles into her covers.

As I'm just about to close the door to her room...

H: Mom?
Me: Yes...
H: I love Dad more than I love you.
