My Baby Is Crazy

Harper has entered a new phase of life...temporary insanity. She goes from normal to bouncing off the walls in a matter of seconds. The bouncing is usually coupled with high pitched squeals and/or growls. Toys are thrown. Paper is shredded. Laughing ensues. Sometimes biting occurs. Then, just as quickly as it began, it is over.

Is this normal? Please help.

LOL! Oh yes, this is completely normal. Just wait till she goes from being upset and crying about something to laughing. My husband swears our kids bipolar because their moods can change in an instant without notice. children have no understanding of how to control their emotions and just do what they feel when they feel it. Harper is growing up it's bittersweet.

I love how you call the insanity "temporary". It sounds hopeful. Last night, Cathleen woke up at 4am, bawling uncontrollably from a bad dream. When we tried to get her to go back to sleep, she told us with tears streaming down her face that we "hurt her feelings". Of course, she woke up this morning at 7am happy and ready to play as if nothing happened.
