98% of the human genome is noncoding DNA. Termed junk DNA, this vast majority of all human DNA has no known biological function. Why would we have so much nonfunctional genetic material? Are these the instructions for superpowers that are waiting to be tapped or are they really just junk left over from millions of years of modification? I don't know about you, but I'm hoping for superpowers.

Weird Friday
This video has lots of things that I like in it - the moon, hydrangeas, puffins, marmots, cheese... You may remember these critters from some Quiznos commercials that ran a while back. It's weird. I know. But I think it's funny.
(Not that I didn't appreciate this. I enjoyed them on the Quizno's commercials. My favorite commercials right now are the nannerpuss one and the filet-o-fish one.)

Good post. Rathergood is awesome. My favorite will always be the Vikings Kitten one set to Zeppelin's Immigrant Song.
